Verbs in the Indicative mood have 3 tenses. The Tense of the Verb is a grammatical

category that shows relation of the action expessed by a verb to the moment of speech.

Expresses an action that is happening at the moment of speech: Мы говорим по телефону (We're talking over the phone)	Expresses an action that happened (had been happening) before the moment of speech: Мы собирали ягоды (We were collecting berries)	Expresses an action that will happen (will be happening) after the moment of speech: Мы пойдем в кино завтра (We'll go to the movies tomorrow)

 

Perfective verbs do not have personal and adverbial forms in the present and form simple future tense,

while unperfective verbs have personal and adverbial forms in the present tense

and have complex future forms. The categories of tense is expressed with endings,

suffix -л, and auxilary verb быть.
